The Smarty Ears website (http://www.smartyearsapps.com) is intended for use by speech language-pathologists, teachers, parents and Smarty Ears’s applications and printed materials (homework sheets) are intended for use by professionals, educators, and the family including young children with adult participation and/or supervision. The Smarty Ears’ iOS applications are intended to be used by speech-language pathologists, parents, and educators. All of our apps were designed for children under guided supervision of an adult.

Personal information on our apps
Smarty Ears is aware that adults may allow children to use Smarty Ears applications. At Smarty Ears, we respect children’s privacy. Many of our applications for iPad may collect and store children’s name and photos within the device. However, this information is store solely on the device, none of this information is transmitted to Smarty Ears. Smarty Ears does not collect this information or store anywhere within our system.
Smarty Ears apps do not:
– track, send or receive children’s location, phone number, or any other personal information.
– transmit any personal information to outside parties.
– contain advertising

A user may choose to make personal information such as name and email available to us by subscribing to the Smarty Ears newsletter on our website, by subscribing or commenting on our blog, or by contacting the Smarty Ears support team via email. The information provided by the user on our website or via email may vary depending on the technical question requested or signature used on email accounts. Users are not required to send any personal information via email or via our website, all information provided is optional. If a User contacts Smarty Ears by email, we will use the personally identifiable email address information only to respond to the specific inquiry.
