Preposition Remix
Description: Prepositions Remix was designed in order to help children learn prepositions while playing and having fun. Preposition Remix is a highly interactive way to help children learn their prepositions by choosing the correct picture in a pool that relates to the appropriate preposition. Prepositions Remix provides practice with 20 of the most commons propositions in English:
Above, Behind, Below, Beside, Between, Closest to, Furthest, In, In front of, In the middle, Inside, Near, Next to, On, On top of, Out, Outside, To the left, To the right, Under.
Prepositions Remix is highly interactive and it can be adjusted to meet the needs of all students.
Users are able to adjust the number of prepositions played with in a session, adjust the type of feedback provided to the student, and whether or not to provide additional cues such as a second audio production or written cues on the screen. Each
preposition contains 10 trials; which gives us a total of 200 different trials on the entire app.
Preposition Remix also has a “therapist upgrade” as an in-app purchase that allows therapists to keep track of student’s progress over time. This way we are able to offer our standard version for parents who don’t need the multiple students’ tracking function; while also providing a more advanced “pro version” for therapists and teachers.
Settings: It is possible to adjust the settings of Preposition Remix by clicking on the settings button on the right side of the screen.
The settings allow users to select the prepositions they would like to play with as well as the types of cues and responses.
All prepositions are by default turned on; if you wish to turn it off simply touch the button to turn each preposition off.
Therapist version upgrade: The standard version of Preposition Remix provides basic information for one user. The therapist version upgrade allows therapists & teachers to track multiple students & track each student over time. See below a screenshot of therapist version:
